The following are known issues accompanying the release of Chapter 1 (Patch 2.0).
General
- Some strings in UI elements and menus are untranslated in a few languages
- Text does not fit within a number of UI elements when translated into some languages
- 'Choose squad portal' is available in Solo mode
- PC - Minimizing and maximizing window while changing resolution in full screen mode will make screen inaccessible
- PS4- environmental textures fluctuate to different resolutions
- PS4- Sometimes, users who do not have the application booted will fail to transition to invited online sessions
- PS4- The application crashes when the user signs out of PlayStation™Network during online gameplay
Menus
- Waypoints can be created while the in-game menus are open in multiplayer lobbies and modes
- Player is able to interact with items while Options or in-game Settings menu is open
- Switching from Controller to Mouse & Keyboard allows the player to open multiple drop down menus
- Disabling crossplay causes the enable crossplay prompt to appear briefly
- Gauntlet sometimes vanishes from the character's hand while waiting in the 'Select your class' section after idling for a few seconds
- Users who exit match while their party members are in game can sometimes enter a new matchmaking lobby
- XB1 - Voice Chat Enabled checkbox blinks when changing any Audio slider after rapidly turning it on/off
- Player cannot join any party-enabled game modes after attempting to join a blocking player's party
- Pressing ‘Accept’ button after receiving a friend request while being in Friend Requests tab proceeds Player to "Add A Friend" tab
- Additional highlighter appears on tabs in Main menu after rapidly changing from Quests to either Friends or Mastery tabs
- The Options Menu is transparent on the Clash Post-Match Stats Screen making it so player stats overlap with the content of the menu
- Mute text doesn't update if you've Muted someone on the Clash Post-Match Stats Screen
- Chapter rewards window preview reset fade out triggers twice
- Clash - Mute prompt occasionally reappears when attempting to unmute a muted player from the end of match screen
- Party leader force quitting application while in squad does not disband party
- XB1- Crashes to the Xbox Home screen after resuming from connected standby at the main menu
- XB1 - Stuck on Crossplay window when creating new SB account
- Returning to the Privacy Policy screen from the XB1 home menu causes the Privacy Policy screen to be omitted
- Left Player slot overlaps with quest and game mode UI while in windowed mode
Store / purchasing
- Switching categories after equipping a new Cloudburst causes some effects to stick with the player
- Character’s rotation speed increases in item preview screen after switching to another tab from Shop Menu
- Repeatedly pressing the buy button results in Purchase Redemption Error
- PS4 - Users only granted gold purchase on relaunch if network connection error is hit while in checkout
- Players who have the Chapter Purchase screen up while in the Pre-Match Lobby may lock up after completing or canceling the purchase attempt
- Debug string "R:Retry:Network:" is present in Purchase redemption error
- Shop notification jewel appears in between Shop and Collection tabs
UI
- UI describing talents sometimes overlap when translated into other languages
- Exile and Revive icons overlap “Immune” alert
- VFX of first recharged Sorcery does not appear around Sorcery icon when Player has two charges of the Sorcery
- Shock timer stays on a screen when the Player gets exiled while shocked
- A number of UI elements don’t scale text properly when running with the shrink display setting
- Slow, Frozen, and Slow Immunity all have the same icon
- Mouse pointer doesn't scale up accurately to resolutions higher than 1920x1080
- Speed VFX do not disappear from the Summary screen after flying into the abyss or fracture
- "Waiting For Players" header does not update when switching languages while in-game
- Clash scoreboard mute text does not switch to unmute when targeted user is already muted
- Clash - The potion consuming UI will stay on screen until the user respawns if they die while using one
Audio
- The Push to Talk sound doesn't play when pressing the Push to Talk Key
- Voice Chat incorrectly disables in Settings after losing internet connection
- Game audio is still audible when the window is unfocused when it is not supposed to be
- Storm Tornado is missing its lightning VFX
- Damage SFX is being audible in the Match Summary Screen
- Most torches lack their respective flames SFX in the pre-match lobby
- Static-esque sound occurring while downed
- No SFX is presented when the Player is proceeding through the Login Title Screen
Gameplay
- Other players shake when dropping in
- Exile animation does not start if the Player toggled Exile button while moving
- Ice blocks lack collision with items
- Leaving a match while being damaged by players or the storm causes the controller to continue vibrating
- Users in Disrupted state animate very choppily in Ultra graphics setting
- Fortitude talent barrier is misaligned while using sorcery and spells when observed by other users
- Revive and Exile are canceled when Player takes friendly-fire damage from Fire or Poison Puddles or explosions
- It can be difficult for players to pick up overlapping items in the same space
- Thunderstorm Honor Quest can be completed with different elements/Gauntlets than it is described(supposed to be thunder + wind)
- Severe hitching occurs when first triggering movement controls after joining matchmaking lobby
- Some Sorceries and Runes can be cast targeting the top of an enemy's head
- Using extra Sorcery charges gained from Knowledge Potion may cause the cooldown timer to flash briefly
- HP Damage indicator and increased HP indicator appear when spawning into the match with Vigor and one specific additional talent selected
- Switch white screen after 3-4 hour soak and playing pyro in solos
- Aim assist overrides the User's input when aiming at an enemy directly below or above the player
- [Clash] Occasionally squadmate name tag doesn't appear
- Title may crash at loading to Spectate mode in Duo and Squad
- trees placed beyond the map are flickering when observed from the edge of the map in the match
- ‘Time Survived’ text is missing on the ‘Match End’ screen displayed after the end of a match
Runes
- Flight rune startup animation doesn't play when flying with Firefly
- Duration timer of Dash Runes displays inconsistent values
- Chronomaster rune's rewind ability may be triggered when Vital Stone talent ability is active
- Featherfall rune icon appears ready to use when it’s cooldown resets without the player touching the ground first, when they must land before it can be used again
- Sorcery is cast immediately after holding Sorcery button after using Springstep Rune
- There are a bunch of areas around the map that are not intended for player access that can be reached due to incomplete colliders using the teleport rune
- Particles or objects that are spawned during emote animations are visible while the player is invisible
- Frozen effect disrupts the Chronomaster rune's VFX
- Cooldown timer is preserved after upgrading a rune and cooldown visual disappears until the timer matches the upgraded variant
- The rune cooldown number display incorrectly, shows 1 second more than correct value
- Springstep Rune's VFX and SFX do not appear after using it multiple times while in air
Combat
- Frostborn/Ice
- Ice Lance, Flash Freeze, and Wind Shear do not extinguish Dragonfire
- Ice Lance projectile's backblast VFX may appear a far behind the Frostborn when observed by other players
- Ice Lance cast close to the Boulderfall trajectory causes boulder to get frozen for a split second when observed by User who cast both abilities
- Ice Lance vfx doesn't align with the targeting reticle when fired at sub-full charge
- Conduit/Lighting
- Player stutters if they activate shockwave while holding levitate
- Character's arm does not orient downward when firing Lightning spell downward
- Lightning Strike functions inconsistently when cast under a roof
- Fortitude talent’s barrier does not absorb Storm damage
- Pyromancer/Fire
- Portions of a Flamewall cast on a line of water do not disappear after creating steam
- Toxicologist/Toxic
- Toxic puddle fails to damage a freshly revived player character if the character was disrupted by the same puddle
- Toxic puddles have enlarged damage range when placed on ice or water
- Stoneshaper/Stone
- Boulderfall does not dispel clouds
- Boulderfall does not get frozen by ice mist
- Frozen Toxic Cloud is not destroyed when directly hit from above with Shockwave Spell
- Tempest/Wind
- Tornado Sorcery does not dispel Steam clouds and puddles created after the sorcery was cast
- Tornado sorcery dissipates only one Fire Puddle in its proximity
- Updraft does not launch the character into the air if they land on their Tornado on high speed
Tutorial
- Electrified Toxic Cloud persists indefinitely in the Elemental Interactions Tutorial
- Animation of the introduction screen is not smooth at its end
- Enters an indefinite unresponsive state when navigating from the Chapters tab to the Shop tab after completing the Tutorial
- Bots may lose pathfinding for a few seconds when their way is being obstructed with fire puddles in Gauntlets Tutorial
Items
- When consuming a potion while crouching, the character appears to drink the potion with their neck
- Several instances around the map where dropped items can clip through rocks
- Switch- Exile Timer Does not cancel if Player consumes an Armor Shard/Health Potion
- Accepted and then denied usable ping will remain on screen instead of being dismissed
Spectate Mode.
- Mana bar sometimes never animates or disappears during spectate
- Foresight sound and UI doesn't appear on the minimap when spectating a player that has it
Cosmetics
- Character idle animation on main menu has an abrupt transition
- In the cosmetics tab, switching categories after equipping a new cloudburst sometimes causes effects to stick with the player
- Toxic Rage afterglow hitches every animation loop in the Chapter Rewards screen when transitioning from emote
- A number of cosmetics have clipping when doing various emotes
Chapters/Quests
- Delivery location may remain highlighted after interacting with it during 'Aegis Tower Readings' Story Quest
- Arcane barometer site has an error in prompt text, says "DROPOFF" instead of “Drop Off”
- Arcane Barometer site is highlighted with a golden shader after dropping the quest item from Inventory
- Damage dealt against bots may not progress quests correctly
- Reviving teammates killed by friendly fire count towards the progress of ‘Revive X teammates’ related quests
- Equipping Legendary Gauntlets or Runes of the same class in a single match does not get counted towards ‘Stuff of Legends’ quest progression
- PS4/XB1/Switch - Highlighter in the Chapter Rewards menu disappears after returning from Sleep Mode
- Switch - Quests with extensive descriptions start to clip with progress bars on the Map screen when changing Switch’s Play modes
- A number of instances around the map where there are unintended small gaps between modular assets around the map
- A number of instances in new POIs and Bogmore of clipping assets
- A number of instances in new POIs and Bogmore of imperfect colliders (nothing severe such as players getting stuck or completely obscured from what I can tell)
- Switch - Aegis tower rubble has brown rectangles sticking out of them.
