Erasing your Data
If you don't feel like submitting a ticket, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to put in a request to have your data deleted. Alternatively, if you'd like to submit a ticket, we can track your request there as well.
Data erasure will generally involve the following data points:
Deleting your Spellbreak Account
If you'd like us to fully delete your Spellbreak account, please submit a ticket (and use the "I want to delete my account" issue type). We'll verify that it's really you by asking a couple simple questions and confirm that it's something that you really want to do.
Deleting your email from our database
As part of the erasure process, we'll remove your email from our mailing database. You might be in this database if you ever opted in to receive more information about Spellbreak, or if you entered a giveaway or contest. Once your email is deleted here, you'll no longer receive any emails from us!
(Optional) Deleting your ticket history in Zendesk
Zendesk is our support software we use to track and respond to tickets. If you'd like, as part of a data erasure request we can delete your username, email, and ticket history from Zendesk, as it's the last place where your email is stored. However, this will make it impossible to backtrack your support history for troubleshooting and past reference.
