Platform-Specific Gold
While you can play Spellbreak on any console or PC and continue account progression (levels, mastery, etc.) please note that if you buy Gold on any platform, it can ONLY be used on THAT platform!
For example, if I bought a 1,000G pack on Switch, that Gold would ONLY appear when I log on to my Switch. If I log into Spellbreak via Steam, I would not have access to that Gold since it is Nintendo-purchased gold - only my Earned Gold (plus any Steam-purchased Gold) would show on Steam.
Earned Gold
Earned Gold is exactly what it sounds like - Gold that is earned through playing the game! The difference between Earned Gold and Platform Gold is that Earned Gold is available regardless of what platform you are logged in to!
Using the above example, if I had earned 250G from leveling up, upon logging in I would see:
- 1250G if I logged into Nintendo (1,000 purchased gold on Nintendo + 250 earned)
- 250G if I logged into Xbox or Playstation (only the 250 earned gold would appear)
- 250G if I logged into Epic or Steam (only the 250 earned gold would appear)
The 3 main sources of earned gold are:
- Leveling up your Mage Rank
- Leveling up a Class Mastery
- Daily Quests
Leveling up your mage rank will net you +50G for each level. For Masteries, this happens at certain (but not all) levels. For a great resource to check where and when you'll earn Gold from these progressions, check https://spellbreak.gamepedia.com/Progression
Daily quests can provide anywhere from 5G to 20G per quest, depending on the difficulty of the quest. You'll be given 3 Daily quests per day, which will remain the same until you complete them. After completion, they are refreshed in 24 hours.
